Mantel full of Christmas

I guess that you could say my mantel spilleth over with Christmas spirit because I have so much Christmas stuff jam packed on it. My husband even teased me and asked me if I had put Christmas decorations up anywhere else in the house. I of course had, but the mantel was the only space where I could make it over to be completely Christmas-y.

But I didn’t just haphazardly put a bunch of stuff on there. I made sure to research with my Satellite Internet Service and see what other people have done so I could get some really good inspiration for what to do with our mantel.

But for our Christmas mantel Christmas mantel I took some natural elements from our yard to add in. That means that I took some branches that had fallen off of our trees and broke them down to the size of our mantel. Then I spray painted them gold and covered them in gold glitter. Even though they’re not the main decorations on the mantel, they really draw in your attention to look at the rest of the stuff.
